Hilarious Hong Kong Comedy!!
13 March 2020
Director Clifton Ko (Gambling Ghost, Chicken and Duck Talk, The Happy Ghost) brings a fantastic cast together for some insane moments that just cannot be put into words!

But I'll try...

Written by actor and producer, Raymond Wong, the original All's Well End's Well film is a Chinese New Year comedy that has many, many, laugh out loud moments as well as heart and emotion - which is mainly down to the wonderful Sandra Ng who plays Wong's hideous and unfortunate wife. She is just brilliant and cracks me up in every scene as well as making me feel sorry for her...

The family each try their hardest to bring sister-in-law (Sandra Ng) back home after she leaves her husband (Raymond) after catching him cheating with the crazy Sheila Chan!

Mainly set around the crazy Shang family that consists of three brothers Wong, Leslie Cheung and the hilarious Chow Sing Chi (along with their TV addicted parents). It is the latter's relationship problems with the wonderful (but insane) Maggie Cheung that makes for many hilarious moments as she likes to live her life inspired by the latest movie hit - such as Pretty Woman, Ghost, and Misery, (even Madonna) with Chow trying hard to keep up with her spoofing many Hollywood blockbusters such as The Shining, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Terminator and more.

He is eventually driven insane after a birds egg falls on his head (but the process leading to that is insanely funny), and things only get funnier from there!

The handsome Leslie Cheung plays a gay flower arranger who has issues with a butch lesbian cousin, played by the fantastic Teresa Mo, resulting in a bizarre turnaround that all results in 4 couples getting hitched in the final scene. It's a tad nuts...

Overall: While a little rough-around-the-edges, All's Well End's Well is hilarious and often insane, but I love it!
