I'm a great fan of Italian 'Giallo' movies and many of their subsequent horror movies, which includes early splatter examples, from Lucio Fulci. This came right at the very end of his movie making days and he also is the main star in the film. For a turn of the decade effort, it looks really dated and starts of with the most incredulous scene of cat (obviously stuffed), eating some human brains. The gore is certainly there and was originally banned in the U.K, during the 'Witch Hunt' on Video Nasties (which lasted from 84 to around 2000). It might be a good one for die hard followers of Fulci but I'm not on board with 'Cat in the Brain'.
