Suprisingly enjoyable cannibal horror. I give the film applause for having a somewhat different storyline compared to most of the other italian cannibal films. The acting was bad and the dubbing was terrible, but does it really matter. This films sole intent of existing is for the gore, and it really delivers. Way gorier than CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST and CANNIBAL FEROX. Some wild gut munching scenes towards the end and a great decapitation, along with other good gore scenes. Didn't enjoy all the animal deaths, but what can you do. From a techincal aspect and in terms of quality, this is terrible compared to ferox and holocaust, and is not as good a film as holocaust, but is much better than ferox and really packs the gory goods. Fun italian cannibal film for fans of the sub-genre
