This movie was Delightful. I remember watching the remake as a kid and not realizing it was a remake until recently. It's just a fun movie to watch, Spencer Tracy is particularly good. Laugh out loud Moments include when he inadvertently gets drunk while meeting his son-in-law's parents for the first time, and when he makes many martinis to announce his daughters engagement at the party and nobody wants them. There are many others as well. Definitely worth 92 Minutes.
