I don't have anything to say about the film, but some people who are deciding whether to watch it may appreciate knowing one of the Emmett Kelly scenes includes a couple of bits with a performer in blackface. First, he's standing backstage with Rock Hudson and laughing at Emmett Kelly's performance, then he walks onstage and starts to sing Way Down Upon the Swanee River.
