To the Lighthouse
22 June 2020
Another atmospheric potboiler from Lawrence Huntington (warmly recalled by James Mason in his memoirs), enhanced by good design and location photography, cooping up a once-in-a-lifetime cast comprising Klaatu and the future Mrs Marlon Brando on a remote lighthouse run by an even more remote Wilfrid Lawson.

You know they're in trouble when he finally smiles about halfway into it. But it does get rather slow and talky as it progresses.
