The Virginian: Image of an Outlaw (1968)
Season 7, Episode 6

More than a passing resemblance

This Virginian episode features Don Stroud in a dual role as an otlaw and a Shiloh hand he looks like. The hand is picked up after the outlaw robs a stagecoach, but is let go after James Drury and Doug McClure alibi him.

Which gives Stroud the hand an idea he can cash in on the doppleganger and pull some jobs of his own with the outlaw getting the blame. As is usual with these schemes they never quite work out. And Stroud the hand develops a taste for the outlaw life.

Nice performances from Stroud, both of them.
