Entertaining political musical but also an allegory on the failure of the Egyptian dream post the Arab Israeli 6 day war which doesn't pull its punches. One of 10 or more Chahine movies added to Netflix in 2020. Should have won multiple awards in '76/77 as one of the finest films of the year.
