Really Good Retelling of a Great Novel!!

This is indeed a great movie, with characters we all KNOW or have met! The, young naive unwed mother; the streetwise beauty who is forever chasing "Mr Right; the judgemental old heifer; the closested lesbians, and the ubiquitous serial unwed mom, with many babydaddies. My only complaint is Oprah playing a SEVENTEEN year old at nearly 40! That was a serious casting error, but SHE was the producer, so....they HAD to do her bidding.
