Miss this show, wish the show had been given a proper finish

I was a huge fan of the show, however it did not start out that way. I saw a preview and thought it would be stupid so I chose not to watch it. One night I was flipping through the few channels we had access to and stopped on this show for a few minutes just long enough to get hooked, at the commercial break it announced the name of the show I was instantly mad at myself for not watching the show from the get go. The show was about a man who as a child was kidnapped by The Center because he was a prodigy. After escaping from The Center Jarod travels around and assumes new identities and careers while helping people who had been wronged in some way. While traveling Jarod discovers his parents are alive and he begins searching for his family over the 4 seasons Jarod is briefly reunited with his brother, his father, and his sister. Jarod sees his mother on two maybe three occasions throughout the entire series. Kyle, Jarods brother who is also another Pretender and was kidnapped as well, is murdered right before his eyes. I my opinion killing off Kyle so soon after introducing him was a bad move in my opinion especially for the second time Kyle supposedly died. Jarod had several short lived visits with his father, they keep getting separated due to The Center catching up to them. Jarod is only briefly reunited with Emily his sister and she was barely conscious due to the Center attempting to kill her. Jarod also has a girlfriend who he kept getting separated from as well. Their was also a half brother Ethan who Jarod was separated from. As well as a Jarod clone. The point is the series never had a good ending after it was canceled, TNT, picked it up and did two movies some questions were answered but honestly I thought it created more questions and Jarod was never really reunited with his mother or his family.
