A patriotic movie
12 January 2021
The film is not bad, but it is full of British patriotic boasting. Those British officers oppose the commander of the Japanese camp on all occasions, so that, in an embarrassing scene, he cries despite the fact that he could not subdue them. How funny, the reality was completely different, let's not forget the Death March in Bataan. I didn't see in this movie that a Japanese guard beat a British soldier, they behaved very polite, although only if you read the books about Japanese camps do you doubt the reality presented by this film.
