The case of Elisa lam has always interested me, in fact the generals story around the Cecil hotel has always fascinated me. That being said, this "documentary " was nothing more than a collection of wannabe web sleuths, patchworked together with a few interviews, that provides no actual insight.
These wannabe crime solvers are making connections that make absolutely no sense in the real world. Their conclusions may as well say Lam was abducted by aliens.
Not to mention, anyone who has ever read anything on the case already knows every bit of "information" this show claims to provide.
As an entertainment piece, I suppose it works, however I believe the producers were very loose with the term "documentary"
I had been waiting for this series for some time, however now I have no interest in watching the series further...
