Not captivating

Warning: Spoilers
This film is a bit like Jeremiah Johnson, but it's far from the artistic quality of the film in which Redford plays. The Indians didn't look like Indians, despite the makeup. Heston was too old for this role. How to defeat a man who was almost 60 years old an entire tribe of Indians, with whom he fights in hand-to-hand combat? In addition, both he and his equally old companion had very young Indian mistresses. The fight scenes weren't successful at all, and the moment Heston's character chases the wolves (they weren't real either) with a few pebbles thrown, is downright funny. It can be a good movie for kindergarten kids.
