People must really love this narrator, who has nothing to do with the crime... so why is he even there? Regardless, I found him to be annoying. They try to keep the pacing up but just googling the crime would be more satisfying. I get that police, especially now, desperately want to legitimize their jobs and competence, and it's interesting having real people and actual footage for events, but it's just every single show like this. Formulaic, generic. I don't know why this one would grab people compared to every other show.
