Based on true events, Forbidden dream is truly one of the best Korean movies that's less known. Though the plot is a bit slow paced, it is clear, original and intriguing. Acting is great as well bringing the emotional moments back to life. This is an amazing movie but certainly not for trigger happy kids who's ignorant about history, politics and drama, otherwise its highly recommended and underrated.
