Utterly and unashamedly stupid, Top Coppers is a really funny spoof without a single serious word in it. A brilliant concept to begin with, British (and Aussie) comedians filling the cast of a stereotypical 1970s US cop duo show, the show was always going to be limited, but it completely does as it sets out to do by hitting you with consistently bizarre stories from outlandish characters. Plenty of familiar faces from the UK comedy circuit to be seen throughout the series, with scenes either being completely predictable without losing any of its impact, to ridiculously unexpected, creating the best parts of the show. Very funny, plain stupid, a nice and easy watch.
