I look and see a 7.9 rating here. For what? Certainly not the dialog, not the acting or the script so, what then?
The new actors here are very miscast. The new Mona was relentlessly gloomy and depressed. She had no character or charm whatsoever. She sat and stared. Not good.
The new Michael? The only reason the actor got that role was because he agreed to the nudity. Instead of recasting Michael they should have just created a new character. Mona and Michael in this had NO chemistry at all and no attempt was made to create any.
The dialog or script was poorly written and there are too many low production values. The actors are TRYING, especially Olympia but it's kind of sad to see her and Laura Linney stuck in this contrived and flat mini-series.
