Even Tom's and Owen's chemistry couldn't save this poorly written series. Hate that Loki has now become a clown-like character and simply doesn't exude danger and charisma like he used to.
Sylvie is just annoying and rather one dimensional - she is apparently a Loki but displays none of the glamour or brooding menace I associate with the film Lokis. The 'romance' between her and Loki is just feels wrong and cringy. Either make it properly chaste like brother and sister or make it have some passion to it rather than somewhere weird in the middle.
I hope series 2 is a whole lot better written and gives us some edginess back to Loki so everyone can remember why so many of us found him so attractive in the first place.
Special mention to Richard E Grant in ep 5 - did a fantastic job of classic Loki and is an all-round national treasure!
