ENGAGING B-MOVIE ENTRY INTO CORRUPT COP POLICE PROCEDURAL...GOOD CAST
8 September 2021
Directed by Notable B-Movie Auteur Don Siegel.

In His Memoir Siegel Disdain His Time on the Movie. Blaming Alcohol, Non-Cooperation from the Cast and Producers Causing Him Nothing but Headaches.

However, the Consummate Professional, Siegel Manages to Deliver an Entertaining and Edgy Slice of Insider Police.

The Movie, it must be Said, Shows No Signs of Trouble Behind the Scenes on Screen.

So the Cast and Producers did Cooperate Considering and in the End the Movie Got Made and Manages to Unleash and Unfold a Superior B-Movie.

Steve Cochran and Ida Lupino (who also scripted and produced) Lead the Good Cast and Produce Sparks of Dialog are a Flawed Pulp-Fiction Couple.

The Movie is Short and Compact. It Reflects the Post-War Noir and Popular Audience Support for the Type that Typically Thrills with Street Level Cops, Crime, and Libido.
