It was really disturbing. I expected to watch a film about some deranged locals preying on an outsider but it was beyond that. His van was torched, he got robbed, he got crucified and he got raped. Everyone in the town including the owner of the inn thought he was the ex wife of Bartel who left him. He treated Marc as her wife who came back to him. The villagers attacked the inn and killed him and Boris who has a little cow and treating it as his dog and. Then Marc escaped. In the forest the old man who found him stuck in the marsh and disappeared in the swamp. And Marc probably died too in the woods in the cold with a woman dress on.
