Horrendous acting and dubbing throughout this movie mesmerize the viewer. The captain's acting in particular was starkly nonexistent. I have seen many, many movies with bad acting but this may be THE worst I have ever seen. It's almost as if they were intentionally doing it. The acting coupled with the dubbing compromise the movie, but it is all somewhat interesting nonetheless. Joining John Huston on board are three film beauties, Gloria Guida, Marina Vlady, and Claudine Auger. The sound track is eerie and really the movie isn't that bad. I think it is worth a watch if you're curious and enjoy things from the 70's.
