I enjoyed it. Despite some cliched elements
They do try to cram a lot of plot points in, but the acting is fine, it's a decent movie.
I've seen better westerns, but I've seen far more that were worse. If you're a fan of westerns, you will probably enjoy this movie.
- the grizzled old scout who thinks they're fools for attempting to get to Oregon, but leads them any way because he thinks they'll die without him.
- the leader who pushes them hard and is determined to make the trek,no matter the cost
- the drunken preacher for comic relief
