You have to look at it this way, the series is made purely for entertainment. Because if you look at the behavior of the policemen, they belong in prison as well as the criminals. But it's just a series made to entertain people. I've been watching the show since season 1 because I'm a big fan of Jon Seda. But what I found totally stupid was that Kim first had a relationship with Ruzek, then suddenly with her partner, then this Hailey also makes out with Ruzek and then suddenly ends up with Halstead, so that's extremely stupid or stupid. I thought that was moronic. But I didn't watch the series because of the stupid women, but because of Jon Seda alias Antonio Dawson.
Since he was in this series, I watched it until the end of season 6. I just loved Jon Seda as Antonio. That's why I was very disappointed or rather appalled by Dick Wolf or whoever it was that they wrote him out of the series. That was the end of the series for me. I then watched a few more episodes of season 7 and also season 8 and they were just horrible or awful. From season 7 on, this series is an absolute disaster. That's why I don't even watch the other seasons of the series, it's just a waste of time. Too bad! Chicago PD without Antonio or Jon Seda has become uninteresting or boring for me. So I just watch the first 6 seasons every now and then and enjoy the cast from season 1 to 6 they were the best. Because I think Sophia Bush, Elias Koteas and Jon Seda were much better than the ones that came after.
The conclusion of the series is that it is a pure entertainment series without depth. And only to continue to earn money, it is extended season after season, whether it is good or not, as long as people watch it, there will continue to be such gruesome stories as before. But as we all know, that's something everyone has to decide for themselves. For me this series has an end, I don't do this to myself any more.
