"Nightmare Beach" isn't a masterpiece. Instead, it's a cheesy, not greatly acted slasher that can still offer some fun to a seasoned veteran. It has dumb death scenes and a decent amount of decent nudity to make the package better. There's also some interesting music included from the period. However, I guessed the killer in 38 minutes and any kind of scares or tension is lacking, meaning this isn't really a horror movie, but a teen movie with some thriller elements thrown in. I give it a 6/10 and I recommend it only to the veterans for a quick fix!
