13 Minutes (2021)
6/10
Better than you may think.

Several families in a small town face danger and possible disaster when a thunderous tornado hits the area, each person has very limited time to react to the fast moving situation.

It's actually not bad, compared to some of the films I've suffered in recent times, it really isn't that bad. Despite its general casual pacing, there are some real moments of tension, with the real life terror coming from knowing that these things happen.

You have an hour of character development, so pacing could well be a huge issue for traditional fans of disaster movies. The first hour is slow, some of the characters you'll like, some you'll loathe, it's very soap opera, after an hour, you get the action, and the film moves from 1st, to 4th gear, it becomes altogether more appealing.

It's clearly a low budget film, but visually it's not without merit, it looks pretty decent I think.

Some of the acting is decent, some of it feels a bit Hallmark channel. You will see plenty of well known faces, including Peter Facinelli, in what is perhaps not his most challenging role.

I know this is going to get hated on, bits it really not bad, 6/10.
