I thought the film was a solid contribution to the cannibal jungle genre. It's not as good as Eaten Alive!, Which was also released the same year (1980). I'm a huge Jess Franco fan, and although this isn't his very best work, it definitely has it's moments and will keep your interest! Like most Eurocine' films, and Franco films for that matter, it's a very low budget. But as usual he makes it work.
