I actually found this series to be a very interesting take on what some would call a well-known story, and yet not all the facts are truly known by anyone other than the actual participants. I suspect that those that dislike how Carole is portrayed as a heroine in this story truly believe she is responsible for her second husband's disappearance. That would be unfair, considering there has been no definitive proof she is guilty of anything. And her efforts to save wild cats is well documented as well as admirable. As for Joe, even if he was set up to a certain extent, he was proven to be guilty of the crimes he was charged with, thus he is no hero. But, all this aside I found the acting to be the thing that kept me coming back for more. Every performance, especially with the leads, was spot on. Yes, I could clearly see that the animals were all CGI, but I had no problem suspending belief in this case. It was in the best interest of both humans and animals. I give this a thumbs up for the acting if nothing else.
