. . . by falsely claiming that the term "ornithologist" is synonymous with "egg collector," after which a malicious Don Duck spends the rest of the episode trying to disrupt the nesting season of an endangered California condor by doing just that. ACTUAL ornithologists give this wrong-headed animated short the lions' share of the blame for an estimated 12 million instances of nest tampering during the past 80 years in the U. S. alone. When people wonder "Where have all the birdies gone?" they often blame insecticides and feral cats. Though America MIGHT be a few fledglings short due to these threats, the largest danger to our feathered friends by far is Dizzy Nature!
