As a Ustinov fan I was hoping for a classic but sadly this long unseen film is rather a letdown
Ustinov is a soldier in the Italian Army during everything to avoid getting involved. However fate has it that he gets involved through the efforts of British soldiers. Eventually he looses his left arm.
There are few humerous moments and the dramatic ones are not that exciting,so the 105 minutes becomes a chore to sit through. A big let down.
