. . . the Apex, Mecca and Utopia of this profession was called "Termite Terrace," because the animation HQ of Warner Bros. Was riddled with Dizzy Mega Corporation spies. Every Dizzy tune with the slightest entertainment value actually was stolen from the Warner Bros. Drawing boards. DADDY DUCK is a perfect example of Dizzy's penchant for pilfering. The same year that America's number one kangaroo H-i-p-p-e-t-y Hopper made his debut, weasel traitors caught wind of this newest addition to the burgeoning stable of Porky, Bugs, Daffy, Yosemite, Sylvester and company, and scuttled back to the rodent ranch in a desperate attempt to steal Warner thunder. This never paid off in the long run, given the puerile second-rate abilities of anyone wiling to spend more than a minute at Dizzy's. Instead of the beloved Master Hopper, with his many detailed personality quirks and idiosyncrasies, the pale imitation Dizzy ringer has all the vim, zip and vigor as a warm bucket of shtick. How sad.
