10/10
ref for the title
7 July 2022
I am not going to review, 11 out of 10 easily.

Just a ref for title: as explained by author himself, it's a poem Tale of tales by Nazim Hikmet. From hazinedar wordpress blog:

We are standing by the water, the plane tree and me.

Our images are in the water, the tree's and mine.

Light from the water is reflected on us, the tree and me.

We are standing by the water, the tree, me and the cat.

Our images are in the water, the tree's, mine and the cat's.

Light from the water is reflected on us, the tree, me and the cat.

We are standing by the water, the tree, me, the cat and the sun.

Our images are in the water, the tree's, mine, the cat's and the sun's.

Light from the water is reflected on us, the tree, me, the cat and the sun.

We are standing by the water, The tree, me, the cat, the sun and our lives.

Our images are in the water, the tree's, mine, the cat's, the sun's and our lives.

Light from the water is reflected on us, the tree, me, the cat, the sun and our lives.

We are standing by the water, First the cat will leave, its image in the water will disappear.

Then I will leave, my image in the water will disappear.

Then the plane tree will leave, its image in the water will disappear.

Then the water will leave, the sun will stay; Then it too will leave...

Standing by the water.

The water is cool, The tree is mighty.

I am writing poetry, The cat is dozing off.

The sun is hot.

So grateful we are alive.

Light from the water reflected on us, On the tree, me, the cat, the sun and our life.

Nazim Hikmet(1901-1963). Masallarin Masali. Translated from the Turkish.
