From the start, I began to wonder if I was just watching a romance movie. Halfway through, I nearly nodded off and began thinking about my credit score. By the end, I was ready to go home and watch something else on Netflix.
This movie is slow to reveal anything resembling a story. I wanted to be lured into the narrative, but even Winona Ryder couldn't keep me interested. The last fifteen minutes should've been more intriguing but we're lost in the previous 75 minutes of development. The characters almost dissolve into pointlessness the longer the story plods on without revealing anything of interest to the audience. This movie isn't even a tease, but more like a ruined joke.
