Ok so the premise seemed kind of intriguing. There were good actors in the lead. However the story shows highly dysfunctional characters with it appears very little intelligence and total lack of soul- applies to everyone except the kids. The maid is waiting naked in bed when the husband approached her. She's aware she is in a shared space yet sleeps like this considering that the child may have approached. So she was hardly innocent. The husband is just a weirdo who feeds on wine and clearly has sex without even a shred of feeling. The wife is completely empty headed, the old maid twisted and so on. A movie without a single intelligent or sympathetic character. The ending was pretty interesting in a weird way. Overall lesson to be learned- do not enter in a passionate yet loveless relationship with empty headed people. Good universal lesson by definition.
