Gripping until the end.

But not one of the best episodes either. It was clearly a 2000s series, because the conclusions were devoid of that annoying woke narratives that plummeted most TV shows lately, and does the revival series recently. The first part was blurry, the investigation could have gone either way, and like I said, had it been made today. It would've been full of preachiness and political agendas. Fortunately, it wasn't. The way they found evidence may be « too easy » but at least we got some sense of closure. Instead of the frustrating ending I feared at one point in the episode. Brass being Bell's « shooter » was handled nicely, and I was touched by the victim's wife reaction. It really wasn't his fault. Grissom telling off that publicity hungry family, with cold hard truths, was another enjoyable moment for me. After that awful fifth season finale, and the early episodes of season 6, the show seems to be slowly, but surely. Back on track.
