Chain of Command (1994)

"Company's calling and it don't look happy"

A western oil company tries to take over an eastern oil country but is thwarted by our hero, Merrill Ross, played by Michael Dudikoff, somehow. Am not sure what went on really but on the whole it's a dull film. Dudikoff plays a role beyond his range as an actor, Keren Tishman is hilariously awful and even R. Lee Ermey is underwhelming in the few scenes he is in. The only character that was interesting was Rawlings played entertainingly evilly by Todd Curtis. Mr. Curtis has strangely sparse film credits to his name which is a shame as he was definitely the best thing in this movie. There are some nice explosions and the action is adequate, It's a low budget actioner from Cannon Films in its twilight years so one shouldn't expect much I suppose.
