Supremely entertaining, with its slew of off-the-wall characters, it didn't tie up all the loose strands that needed tethering and if it were not for that, it could have easily landed among top movies of the year.
Vasan Bala is a master of quirk. His last, Mard ko Dard nahin hota, was a masterly exposition, with tribute flowing freely to the erstwhile retro hits. He has done the same here, also.
The racy songs, the background score and the pulpy dialogues kept me amused.
Rajkumar Rao chalks out another winning act. Kher and Qureshi put in notable supporting performances.
Easily one of the better original films streaming across any OTT. Go in blind, without reading too much about it. You are sure to be left giddy after some of its scenes. The conclusion might be slightly off, but your senses would be thoroughly satisfied.
