Same old disney disrespecting source material

Warning: Spoilers
I was quite disappointed with this movie. It's not a bad movie. It's very enjoyable but the first movie was very faithful to the book. The parts that "The Lion, the Witch, the Wardrobe" were in the movie that were not in the book were actually great and made sense. For Example, when I had read the book, the battle against the army of the White Witch was only hinted and not mentioned in details but I hoped that the movie would show it & it did. Secondly, when Aslan was dying, I wanted Lucy to at least try her vial, which was also done in the movie. But Disney being Disney HAD to add their own boring stuff in this movie. The movie isn't very faithful to the book. The unnecessary parts that they thought would look cool could have been replaced with more content from the book. Aslan's character was like a guest appearance. The use of the Horn, the capturing of the castle etc was done way differently than in the book. The only thing that they showed that was interesting that was not in the book was the attraction between Susan and Prince Caspian. Anyway, you can only hope that Disney respects the source material in the future adaptations but after 2010 it's pointless to even hope.
