Brilliant!

QI is absolutely brilliant. It's got humour, facts and an entertaining cast. To anyone reading this review, I highly suggest you try out at least one episode. I have to admit, this show is so utterly British that watching it if you aren't raised around British culture is almost impossible, but I promise it's so worth it!

I've been watching QI for years now, ever since I was really young (I was about 6 or 7 when I started watching with my parents) and it's genuinely been my favourite program for nearly my whole life. The jokes flow so easily, it has me in peels of laughter every time I watch and re-watch it.

Obviously, I have to talk about the contestants. Both Stephen Fry and Sandi Toksvig have completely different hosting styles, and I believe it's unfair to compare them. They're both brilliant and witty in their own ways; you just have to be receptive to adapting a bit depending on which host.

However, the shining star is most certainly Alan Davies. His easy banter with all the other contestants, no matter who, and the chemistry he has with both Stephan and Sandi is what makes the show so brilliant.

There's also the other contestants who appear regularly, and although I will admit they're a bit hit-and-miss sometimes, most of the time they're just absolutely hilarious. A family favourite for me and my parents is definitely Ross Noble, he's bloody hilarious on QI and if you want to start, find an episode with him.

Overall, would I recommend QI? Yes, 100% You can start at any point and it'll all be brilliant. If you can watch it I highly recommend you do so. My favourite comedy AND panel show, and hopefully it'll carry on for another few years at least. Thank god for QI!
