I gotta say, i had no idea what i got into, but i like demons, monsters and paranormal stuff. And this movie had it all, demons, monsters, ghosts, giant heads, curses, treachery, evil lords and thugs.
This movie caught me, and not just by the story but the whole atmosphere it created with awesome scenes, good acting and very nice special effects and make up of the monsters.
Sure, it's actors in suites, marionette puppets but the design and look is awesome and you have to also have in mind, this is a movie form 1968. This was a really good movie and landed on my top 10 horror movies. No joke, i thought it was that good and that much atmosphere around it. It was really enjoyable to watch and something i would defiantly see again with friends if i am going to show something odd and good from Japan.
The story with the two fishermans, damn that one was good. The effects here was 10/10.
