This movie was so touching. The performances were completely authentic the time. And cultural scenes felt like traveling back in time. I knew nothing about this when I watched it other than I was curious about the poetry only to learn it was actually based on real life persons and poets. My only complaint was the subtitles didn't stay on the screen long enough for me to follow the speed at which the dialogue was delivered so laugh had to back it up and pause it, but I didn't want to miss the word it was so beautifully written a film like this bridges, cultural gaps, and unites the human experience through art, and away only real art can and the filming was so beautiful it drew you into the world of the time and the challenges faced by these young people as they were growing and all who were living through this period- before TB had a cure.
