An unusual friendship between two unusual people

Warning: Spoilers
Viewed in Japanese without English subtitles... Eiko buys a lot of weird stuff. Last time she bought a ring that can bring her happiness according to some random old lady on the street. Not only does she have a problem with buying useless trash, but also with debt collectors. They're robbing her of the last yen she makes. One night, while dodging the debt collectors who are waiting impatiently outside her apartment, she notices an ad for a beauty company that recruits girls to try beauty products and so on. Since I don't speak Japanese, I don't know why she went to some 50-year-old dude's apartment, but she decides to stay there because the debt collectors are still lurking outside her apartment. Eiko's life takes a turn for the better. She gets a new job as a waitress, and there she meets a handsome young man. Could the lucky ring work? Nope. Then, unfortunately, she finds out that the older guy she was living with is working with the young crush of hers and finds out about her, where she grew up, and with whom. Eiko is devastated and moves out immediately. [There's also a side story where Eiko's friend or brother (?) is arrested for selling drugs, and then she finds the drugs and plants them in the beauty company's warehouse. Just a little revenge lol.] She meets a debt collector on the street, and he tells her that someone paid the debt for her! I don't know if they'll say who paid it, but I think it's clear that it was the guy she was living with. At the end, she encounters the old lady who sold her the ring, but this time Eiko rejects her "miracle" product (this time a bracelet). You go, girl. BTW, I laughed at the scene where one character was following her, and she turned to look at him and then quickly ran in his direction. Dude didn't know what to do. 😂 The perfect way of dealing with stalkers lmao.
