For three years the A-Team rode high in the ratings. They slipped in the fourth season. Tweaking the format in the 5th season didn't help. Finally, ratings slid so badly the fifth season was truncated. This episode was not even aired at first and the series ended on the happier "Gray Team."
This is a claustrophobic episode set largely in an Italian restaurant. One of the Team is finally shot but I won't reveal which.
The episode is full of rude mob types who harass innocent diners. No fun.
Still, they manage a few plot twists.
Maybe if they'd done a full season they'd have gotten a pardon. Or if George Peppard hadn't died so soon they might have had a reunion movie to tie things up.
