This is a fun show that tackles serious issues (a some not-so-serious) in a way that is shallow but fast paced and well filmed. Mostly wrapping up plots in each 45 minute episode there isn't a great deal of nuance or detail. The courtroom scenes are very different than American legal shows and capture a more informal and chaotic courtroom process which is interesting but kind of lacking in tension and drama. The acting is good but the show would benefit by having the characters more fleshed out. Some scenes (especially flashbacks) occasional seem a bit half -baked and banged out like cheap docudramas.
