Season 4, Episode 10
9/10
Part 1 - good, part 2 - great

You Season 4 has been pretty good in my opinion. I liked the 'Who Done it' style of story, and especially the new love Interest, whom I think is more compelling of a character than the previous intrests. While season 4 goes over the top several times, it still holds your attention. And while part 1 was a little slow, part 2 elevated things greatly. I loved the shift in tone and story, how the series finally puts a stop to the - Joe is actually a really nice guy trope.... no he isn't. He's a ruthless monster, who has a lot more cunning than we thought. He's like a very smart version of Noman Bates, and I'm here for it.

The drastic change in the character of Joe/his alter ego, Rhys was a surpising welcome, and actually makes sense when you sit and think about his actions in previous seasons. And finally getting to see that darker side of Joe come out at the end, makes me really eager for season 5. I just hope they end it at season 5, and try not to extend it just because - money. If they end it next time, we would have had a very solid thriller TV show that doesn't loose quality.

The Death of Jonathan Moore could mean several things, and I believe that the kind, caring side of Joe is dead - now we have Rhys, the crazy, intelligent, murderer who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Season 5 is going to be a blast.

On a side note, I have noticed this series gets more and more like Dexter with each season. Hopefully this ends better.
