Although the capital sins are seven, this anthology contains SIX episodes; for some reason, two of the sins (Avarice & Anger) are paired up. The almost objectively best of all is Sloth: a wildly imaginative fantasy which has so much to take in that it benefits from a second viewing; Noel-Noel and Jacqueline Plessis are so perfect in their roles that you can't help but smile from the first moment they appear on the screen. Second best is Gluttony, which is short and amusing. The other sketches don't really go anywhere; they stop rather than end. While none of them are outright bad, the final one - Pride - is probably the weakest. The 8th - "unknown" - sin does not quite live up to the hype. **1/2 out of 4.
