It has nothing to do with the book except for the title, which I love so much... The author's great knowledge of each culture that the book talks about is amazing... And the movie... The movie is just a pathetic adaptation of a poorly read book... I think the Georgian side should definitely be involved in the filming... You won't understand what happened in story, if you are not Georgian... That's why the film understood in a completely different way. There is almost nothing left of the book... That's why the book is a bestseller, and the movie is low-rated, it has lost its soul... Unfortunately...
