Sad to say that the first 3-D movie serves no purpose in having been filmed in that process with very few shots that literally fly off the screen at the viewer. I did not see this in 3-D, but I did see a revival house showing of "Kiss Me Kate" complete with 3-D glasses, and that process indicated why they decided to do it a unique way.

The cast outside of the always gregarious Nigel Bruce and the dancers are basically just walking through the paces, with leads Robert Stack and Barbara Britton barely lifting an emotion in their story of dealing with wildlife attacking the locals. I found this tediously boring, with the love scenes just getting in the way and stock footage poorly added into the newly filmed material. There are much better African adventures out there with more frightening lions than the one that looks like a stuffed toy in certain shots.
