Rahul Dev gives a Hannibal Lecter performance of the serial killer Brahma but he is only on screen for ~ 20 minutes before he is caught. I wish they had gone into his motivations instead of showing gore.
Nayanthara makes no difference to the plot. She shows up at the beginning and very end for a paycheck.
Now the best part. The movie gets taken over by the Brahma's intern during the last half of the movie. Again, great performance but makes no senses. Brahma tells him to go berserk and he says 'OK' and gives a Jim Carrey performance in the last 15 minutes. It is laughable.
Did the director/writer drop the ball on this? It is possible. But if you want to watch a great crime thriller that came out this year go watch 'Por Thozhil'. You will see the difference.
