Warren william is perry mason, in this early ish version of the famous lawyer by erle gardner. Right at the start, he's getting married to della (claire dodd). By a female judge, no less. A rare thing in those days! But right away, a woman demands that mason take her case... whatever it is! The rich husband mr. Belter is determined to ruin a politician who has been hanging around with mrs. Belter. But then, the bodies start piling up. Which usually happens when blackmail is involved. Can mason sort it all out? It's just okay. The story doesn't really make much sense, but we meander along as mason tries to follow the clues, while the coppers chase their tails. The running gag is that mason has caught a cold. Not the most exciting stuff. Directed by bill clemens.
