Konvoi -A slight Improvement since Narvik...

Konvoi is based on a historical moment of World War II in Norway, where cargo ships were transporting material to the Soviet Union. Since "Narvik" that debuted in Norwegian theaters last year, Norway has continued to make productions for big movies for every upcoming year (At least it looks like it). Konvoi was a decent film with a great presented story, but it had many unfinished details that let the rating down. But let's start with the pros. Great scenography, the convoy was well adapted to how cargo ships looked back in time, and overall nice territorial presentation. The story was well introduced as well, with great development and it continued the suspense greatly. The acting was basic, but I got to admit that the captains in the film (Mork and Skar) were well performed and they did have the right tone for the atmosphere. By the way, I got to say that I have mixed feelings about the characters in here. Three people died in total, and I didn't care about them at all. The story maker should have killed a more important person, because I can't feel connected to the rest and then I feel less worried about the situation. Konvoi is suffering of its up and downs, too. Some moments are totally entertaining and well directed, while others feel unfinished and unnecessary. The ending was quite random, and I wished that it could be more smooth, and not finishing so abruptly. The camera filming is also something to pick on. I understand that the action happens on the water, and they wanted to show realistic moving effect. Sometimes it was too much. I wished they could have more nice and court filming, especially when they weren't moving, for example when they were on the ice. On the action sequences, the ideas for filming were turned on, and I liked the different perspectives and fast filming motions. To summarize, Konvoi was an average war film that entertains, but has its up and downs. Could have been better.
